Advertising for graduates

This website aims to assist the voluntary and community sector to attract high quality job applicants – something that will ensure the growth and development of the sector now and in the future.

According to the UK Voluntary Sector Skills Survey 2007, the voluntary and community sector suffers from an array of skills gaps and hard to fill vacancies within many organisations.

Presently, employers are most likely to identify skills gaps within the functions of marketing and fundraising. Over one-quarter of employers in the voluntary and community sector reported skills gaps within strategic use of IT and legal knowledge – and employers in the sector predict that this will continue in the future.

The sector is growing and needs to recruit more skilled and talented people in an increasingly competitive job market. It is in the interests of the sector to develop trainee schemes, internships and apprenticeships to attract new entrants with high potential.

If you’re interested in adding your organisation’s details to this website, and listing your organisation’s vacancies (paid and unpaid) by RSS feed, please email Kelly Ventress for information.
